Looking for more information about our Aegis CROS Assurance E-Consult? You’re in the right place. Our FAQs below cover everything from how our service works to its benefits for your business.

What is an e-consultation?

An e-consultation is a virtual meeting with one of our expert team members of the Corp Sec & Governance Services, where you can discuss and get guidance on topics related to the submission of documents on the CROS and information regarding the statutory duties and responsibilities of a Company Secretary. It is a convenient and efficient way to receive professional advice and support remotely, without the need for in-person meetings.

How to book an e-consult?

Booking an e-consult with CROS Assurance Services is easy! Simply visit our website at https://www.aegistt.com/events/cros-e-consultation. You can select the “Book Now” option, which will allow you to book your consultation session. Once your payment is confirmed, our Customer Care Agent will contact you to complete the Pre-Consultant Form and schedule a convenient date and time for your e-consultation from our available options.

Can I request a refund for an e-consultation if I am unable to attend or need to cancel?

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. As per our policy, e-consultations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled e-consultation, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice in writing to reschedule and allow someone else to attend on your behalf. Alternatively, if you need to cancel, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice in writing. In the event of cancellation, you will be allowed to make a new appointment within 30 days from the date of cancellation.

When will I receive the link for my e-consultation?

Once payment has been received, the necessary link for the e-consultation will be shared with you via an email calendar invite. One of our Client Care Agents will contact you within 24 business hours to secure a date and time that is convenient for you.

Is it possible for another team member to attend the e-consultation if the originally scheduled participant is unavailable?

We understand that unexpected events can sometimes disrupt schedules. If the originally scheduled participant is unable to attend the e-consultation, we can accommodate another team member to attend instead. However, we require written notice at least 48 hours in advance. Once we receive the written notice, the appointment will be deleted from the original participant’s calendar, and a new link will be shared with the selected team member to attend the e-consultation.

What if I'm running late for an e-consultation?

If you are running late for an e-consultation, please notify us as soon as possible. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to reschedule the appointment for a later time or adjust the duration of the consultation to accommodate the delay. However, please note that the total duration of the consultation will not exceed the originally scheduled time. It’s important to arrive on time to make the most of your consultation. Failure to contact us regarding a delay will be considered as not showing up, and the consultation will be non-refundable.

What are the technical requirements for participating in an e-consultation?

The technical requirements for participating in the e-consultation will depend on the platform being used, such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Participants will typically need a reliable internet connection, a compatible device (such as a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone), and a camera and microphone for video and audio communication. It may be possible for participants to join the session via a web browser without installing any software, by clicking on a link provided to them. However, we recommend checking the specific requirements and instructions provided by us for the e-consultation to ensure a smooth and successful participation experience. If you have any questions or concerns about technical requirements or accessing the e-consultation, please feel free to reach out to us at least 2 business days prior to the e-consultation for further assistance

Are there any additional fees or charges associated with the e-consultation?

Is an e-consultation the same as a discovery call?

An e-consultation is not the same as a discovery call. A discovery call is a preliminary phone call or meeting to gather basic information about your needs and requirements. How can I make payment for an e-consultation and what forms of payment are accepted?

Payment for e-consultations can be made securely on our website using credit cards. We accept major credit cards, including Visa and Mastercard for your convenience. Simply visit our website’s payment page and follow the easy steps to complete your payment using your preferred credit card.

How soon can I schedule an e-consultation and what days and times are available?

After payment, appointments for e-consultations are available only on Monday to Friday between 9 am and 2 pm. There are no consultations on weekends or public holidays. The timing for your e-consultation will depend on the availability of the consultant and will be scheduled based on their calendar. Please note that there may be a lead time of up to 7 business days. Once payment has been received, one of our Client Care Agents will contact you within 24 business hours to confirm the scheduling of your e-consultation.

Is there a minimum or maximum duration for an e-consultation?

There is no minimum duration for an e-consultation. Your scheduled appointment time begins as soon as your e-consultation starts. However, the maximum duration for an e-consultation is 1 hour. To make the best use of your time, we encourage you to complete our pre-consultation form prior to the session. This will allow us to better prepare and customize the discussion to your specific needs. The form will serve as a basis for our conversation and will not supersede any other help or questions you may have during the session

How many team members can participate in an e-consultation?

Our e-consultation is designed as a one-on-one consultation, meaning it is typically for a single individual from your team. This allows for personalized attention and tailored solutions to address their specific needs. We believe that this approach enables us to provide the highest level of service and value to our clients by focusing on individual requirements during the consultation.

Are there any limitations to what can be discussed during an e-consultation?

During an e-consultation, our consultants are trained and experienced in addressing a wide range of topics related to our corporate secretarial and governance services. However, there may be some limitations based on the scope and focus of the consultation. We recommend providing relevant information and details about your specific needs during the Pre-consultation Form submission process to ensure the most effective use of your time. Our consultants will do their best to address your concerns within the allotted time frame and provide valuable insights and guidance based on their expertise.

Can the e-consultation session be recorded?

As of now, we do not offer recording of e-consultation sessions due to privacy and confidentiality concerns.

If you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this, please feel free to discuss them with your consultant during the session.

Are there any documents or information that I need to prepare or provide prior to the e-consultation?

Yes, after submission of payment and upon receipt of your invitation link to the e-consultation, you will receive our pre-consultation form. This form will include important information about your company, its beneficial owners, the nature of your business, and the specific topics or areas you wish to discuss during the session. We encourage you to provide as much detail as possible in the form to help us better understand your needs and prepare for the e-consultation. Please note that we require the completed form to be submitted at least 5 business days before the scheduled e-consultation to ensure adequate preparation time.

Can I request a follow-up consultation or additional support after the initial e-consultation?

Yes, certainly! We understand that your needs may evolve, or you may have additional questions after the initial e-consultation. You are welcome to request a follow-up consultation or additional support as needed. Our team is here to provide ongoing support and assistance to ensure your needs are met. Please feel free to reach out to us to schedule a follow-up consultation or discuss any additional support requirements you may have.
