Janet Skinner is a Chartered Secretary with over thirty five (35) years experience in the field, sixteen of which she spent in the UK, where she gained invaluable experience in the area of corporate law and governance.

Janet was a Senior Manager with Price Waterhouse for ten (10) years following which she spent six (6) years as a corporate secretary in private and state enterprises, further expanding her managerial and administrative skills. She headed the management team of a State Enterprise that was successfully divested on the Stock Exchange.

Janet returned to Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in 1997 and when Aegis Business Solutions Limited was formed by PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2001 she joined the newly-formed company as an executive director and has full responsibility for corporate secretarial solutions and advisory services.

Janet has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate law and company secretarial practice and she utilises her in-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, 1995 and other relevant legislation to provide high-level professional advice and cost-effective solutions to the many clients within her portfolio.

Janet is a non-executive director of Guardian Asset Management Limited, a company registered under the Financial Institutions Act, and a subsidiary of a public company. She is also the Chairman of the company’s Audit, Compliance and Risk Committee.
